Sugar or jaggery β Β½ to 1 tsp
Salt β to taste
Water β 1β2 tbsp
Red chili powder β ΒΌ tsp (optional, for color)
For Garnish
Onion rings or slices β 1 small
Coriander leaves β 2 tbsp, chopped
Make the Garlic Paste β
Blend garlic, red chilies, vinegar, sugar, salt, water, and chili powder into a coarse paste. Set aside.
Temper the Oil β
Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds or mace and let them release aroma.
