  • 8–10 chicken drumsticks (skin-on or skinless)

For the Marinade

  • 1½ tbsp red chili powder

  • 1 tbsp black pepper powder

  • 1 tsp cumin powder

  • ½ tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste

  • 1 tsp soy sauce (optional)

  • 1 tbsp lime juice

  • Salt, to taste


🍽️ Instructions

  • Make the Marinade

    Mix chili powder, black pepper, cumin, turmeric, garam masala, ginger-garlic paste, soy sauce, lime juice, and salt into a thick paste.

  • Coat the Chicken

    Rub marinade evenly over drumsticks.
    Place in a ziplock bag and refrigerate at least 4 hours (overnight = best).

  • Preheat Oven

    Heat to 350°F (175°C).
    Line a baking tray with foil and brush lightly with oil.

  • Bake — First Side

    Arrange drumsticks spaced apart.
    Bake 10–15 minutes.

  • Flip & Finish

    Turn drumsticks, baste with leftover marinade, and bake another 10–12 minutes until golden and fully cooked through.
